The Division of Medical Laboratory Science provides up to one position within the quota for the BSc MLS program to aboriginal applicants. The first student was admitted under this category in 1994.
Students who are of aboriginal ancestry within the meaning of The Constitution Act, 1982, §35(2), or a person who is accepted by one of the aboriginal peoples of Canada as a member of their community, are eligible in this category. Candidates are subject to normal minimum admission requirements as outlined in the calendar and approval by the Divisional Admissions Committee.
